Abstracts. The article deals with the activity of a psychologist and relations between school psychology and education in terms of a phenomenological approach. The author quotes theses of the science of childhood, which is not viewed as a preparation to adulthood; a concept of “existential situation” is introduced. The author underlines many-sidedness of a school counselor’s work as a diagnostician, methodologist, practitioner and designer of school’s activity as an educational system.
